FAQ

Subfloor Preparation

Before installation, ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Remove any dust, oil stains, loose particles, or debris that may affect installation quality.

Suitable surfaces include: concrete floors, epoxy floors, and existing tile floors.
If the surface is uneven, basic leveling is recommended to ensure better performance and longer service life.

Inspection & Layout Planning

Before starting, open the cartons and check the tiles for any damage or color variation.
It is recommended to lay out a small section in advance to plan the installation direction and achieve a more uniform visual effect.

Starting Point

Begin installation from a straight edge or corner of the area.
Typically, installation starts from left to right and from inside to outside.

Make sure the first row is aligned properly, as it determines the overall installation accuracy.

Interlocking Installation

Align the locking system of each tile and connect them together:

Position the edge of one tile into the groove of another
Press down gently or tap lightly with a rubber hammer
Ensure the locking system is fully engaged without gaps

Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the interlocking structure.

Cutting & Edge Fitting

For edges, corners, or irregular areas, tiles can be cut using a utility knife or cutting tool to fit the space.

It is recommended to leave a small expansion gap (2–5mm) along walls or fixed structures to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.

Edge Finishing

After installation, edge trims and corner pieces can be installed if available.
This helps improve the overall appearance and prevents tile edges from lifting, while also increasing safety.
